Hemon
Sportswear Graphics · Pattern Design
Hemon is a pattern and graphic design project developed during a professional internship, exploring how visual rhythm and identity can be translated into functional performance wear.
The project focuses on building a strong graphic language for a limited-edition cycling kit designed for a desert endurance event, balancing expressiveness with clarity and wearability.
Concept
Inspired by desert landscapes and endurance culture, the graphic system combines dynamic forms, controlled texture and high-contrast elements to convey movement, resilience and intensity.
The visual language was developed to remain clear and impactful when applied to garments in motion, ensuring legibility and coherence across different pieces.
Throughout the process, multiple pattern directions were explored, testing rhythm, density and balance before refining the final proposal.
Outcome
The final result is a complete graphic system applied to a cycling jersey, technical T-shirt and socks, presented through front and back mockups.
The project demonstrates how a single visual concept can adapt across different garment formats while maintaining consistency, clarity and performance-driven design.
