SKNLY is a conceptual skincare brand that explores how visual identity can communicate honesty, proximity and confidence, moving away from the promise of perfection often associated with the industry.
The project focuses on translating values such as real skin, inclusivity and everyday care into a clear, contemporary brand system. Rather than idealised beauty standards, SKNLY positions skincare as a quiet, grounded part of daily life — familiar, human and pressure-free.
Concept
The visual identity balances simplicity and boldness, using typography, colour and photography to create a confident yet approachable presence. The system is designed to feel modern without being loud, allowing the brand to communicate clearly while remaining emotionally relatable.
Audience
SKNLY speaks to Gen Z and young consumers seeking skincare brands that feel authentic, inclusive and emotionally honest. The brand connects with people who value care over transformation and see skincare as part of everyday self-care rather than correction.
Visual System & Applications
The outcome is a flexible visual system applied across packaging, social media and advertising contexts. The identity adapts seamlessly to different formats, maintaining consistency and recognisability while allowing for expressive, restrained campaigns across physical and digital touchpoints.
This self-initiated project was developed within a 7-day creative timeframe, simulating real-world constraints and reinforcing my approach to building visual systems that remain coherent, human and communicative across platforms.
